Friday, August 19th — Legends Night Presented by Purolator

What’s better than a Rider game night? A Rider game night with fan favourites Weston Dressler, Mike McCullough and Ken Miller! It’s Legends Night, presented by Purolator and you won’t want to miss your chance to congratulate them on their induction in the SaskTel Plaza of Honour!

The three inductees will be speaking to Rider Nation at halftime! Cheer them on and show your support and appreciation for their many years of dedication to the Roughriders organization!

Gates open at 6:30 p.m. and kickoff is at 8:00 p.m. Get to your seat early to catch a performance from the Rider Flo Dance Crew presented by Engelheim and 620 CKRM Cheer Team with help from the participants of the Junior Cheer Camp!

Coors Light Party in the Park is also a can’t-miss event this week as Weston Dressler, Mike McCullough and Ken Miller will be  signing autographs from 5:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.! We ask fans to please keep it to one autographed item per person.. Not only that, the Grey Cup will also be in attendance at the park!

Gates to Coors Light Party in the Park open at 5:00 p.m. and will also have inflatables, face painting, a balloon artist, appearances from the 620 CKRM Pep Band, the Coors Light Stage with DJ Tolley T and so much more!

And don’t forget to do your part to help the Saskatchewan community Tackle Hunger! This week is the Purolator Tackle Hunger Game! Fans are invited to bring a non-perishable food item to donate at the gate. Bins can also be found in Party at the Park and QR codes will be displayed throughout the stadium which can be used to provide financial support. All donations will support our Saskatchewan Foodbanks!

Reminders:

Your phone is your ticket! Don’t forget to download the Rider App, powered by SaskTel, onto your smartphone and have your digital tickets ready before you come to Mosaic Stadium. We promise it’s easy, but we created a tutorial video here and have a full FAQ and written tutorial at Riderville.com, just in case!

Come prepared with your clear bag. The Club has moved to a clear bag policy for all Saskatchewan Roughrider games in 2021 and beyond. Each fan, including children, can bring in one clear bag sized 12” x 6” x 12” or smaller. Large purses, backpacks and camera bags are prohibited. More details on the clear bag policy can be found here.

In transit? Whether you arrive at the stadium on four wheels or two, there are options available! The bike valet opens at 6:00 p.m. on game day and is staffed by volunteers through REAL. The bikes are inside a fenced compound that is monitored throughout its hours of operation. Please note that your bike must be picked up within one hour after the game ends. The bike valet is located by the South East exterior of the Stadium by Gate 4.

In addition, Rider Transit presented by WorkSafe Saskatchewan is back! That’s right, free guest bus transit is available from various locations across the city (Southland Mall, University of Regina, Warehouse district, the Delta Hotel, Victoria Ave and Scarth Street) and at a NEW north end location: The Turvey Centre, starting two hours and 15 minutes before kickoff time.

Week 11

After ending a three-game skid last week, the Green and White look to carry the momentum into their second meeting of the season against the B.C. Lions.

The offence, defence, and special teams all contributed last week against the Edmonton Elks to help the Club get back in the win column.

Quarterback Cody Fajardo threw for a touchdown and punched in two more majors last week to lead the way for the offence. Duke Williams had one of the greatest celebrations of the year  – joining fans for a Nacho feast – after making a contested catch in the endzone to give the Riders a lead they would not relinquish.

Anthony Lanier II earned his second multi-sack game of the season tying him at the top of the CFL with seven sacks alongside teammate Pete Robertson. The Roughriders lead the league with 32 sacks as a team after adding four more against the Elks.

Putting a bow on things was yet another “super” performance from returner Mario Alford. The human cheat code returned a kickoff 98 yards to the endzone to cap off the first half in last week’s game. He now has a missed field goal return touchdown and a kickoff return touchdown in his first four games with the Riders.
