As the excitement of a new CFL season builds, the Saskatchewan Roughriders are bringing the energy north for one of our favourite annual traditions—Green & White Day in Saskatoon!
On Saturday, May 17, the Gordie Howe Sports Complex will come alive with Rider pride, as fans of all ages gather to celebrate the return of Rider football with an afternoon packed with fun, football, and family-friendly activities—and best of all, it’s completely FREE to attend!
Whether you’re a die-hard fan counting down the days to kickoff or a family looking for an exciting way to spend a Saturday, Green & White Day offers something for everyone.
The festivities begin when the gates open at 1:00 p.m., giving you plenty of time to explore the grounds, enjoy the atmosphere, and soak in the sounds of a live DJ and the 620 CKRM Pep Band. Kids can let loose with face painters and inflatables, while fans can stock up on fresh gear at The Rider Store on-site or chat with our Ticket Office team to score great deals for game day.
At 1:45 p.m., be sure to head inside for State of the Nation, where Club President & CEO Craig Reynolds, General Manager Jeremy O’Day, and Head Coach Corey Mace will share insights and excitement for the season ahead.
Then, at 3:00 p.m., the football action kicks off with a live scrimmage, giving fans a first look at the team in action. After the final whistle, stick around for post-practice autographs, your chance to meet the players and welcome them back.
With Gainer the Gopher, the Harvard Media Rider Cheer Team, and hundreds of members of Rider Nation in attendance, Green & White Day is more than just an event—it’s a celebration of community, connection, and the beginning of something special.
So mark your calendar, throw on your Green and White, and join us in Saskatoon when we Bring ‘Em Out!
