Dr. Jordan Buchko
Dr. Jordan Buchko is an Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in arthroscopy and sports medicine. Born and raised in Regina, he completed his Bachelor of Science (Biology) degree at the University of Regina in 2005. He then traveled to Saskatoon where he spent the next 9 years. In 2009 he earned his Medical Degree from the University of Saskatchewan and in 2014 completed his Orthopaedic Surgery residency, also at the University of Saskatchewan. He followed this education with a one-year Reconstructive Arthroscopy fellowship at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver. Dr. Buchko has been practicing in Regina since September 2015, and has been fortunate to be a team Orthopaedic Surgeon with the Saskatchewan Roughriders since May 2016. He also takes care of various amateur, junior, and collegiate-level athletes.
In addition to his work in sports, Dr. Buchko practices at Prairie Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine. He is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Saskatchewan and is the Orthopaedic Surgery Education Director for the University of Saskatchewan College of Medicine’s Regina Campus. In his spare time, he enjoys coaching his daughter Gabriella’s flag football team and spending time with his lovely wife Jennifer.
