2025: Korte-Moore registered a sack in the Roughriders’ pre-season opener, May 24 at Winnipeg … fumble recovery, June 28 vs. B.C. … member of 2025 Grey Cup champions.
2024: Korte-Moore registered his first CFL fumble recovery on July 25 at Montreal … 14 defensive tackles and one sack in 16 regular-season games.
2023: Korte-Moore was selected by the Roughriders in the first round, third overall, of the 2023 CFL Draft. In 18 games as a rookie, he registered 13 defensive tackles, two special teams tackles and one sack. Against the visiting Ottawa REDBLACKS on Aug. 6, Korsak registered his first CFL sack and made a season-high four defensive tackles. Both of his special teams tackles were made July 15 versus the visiting Calgary Stampeders.
COLLEGE: Korte-Moore spent four collegiate seasons (2018-22) at the University of British Columbia, recording 110 defensive tackles (23 for a loss), 10 sacks, two interceptions, eight pass knockdowns and three forced fumbles over 34 games. He had a breakout season in 2022, posting a career-high 48 tackles (12.5 for a loss) and six sacks and being named a Canada West All-Star.
FAST FACT: Korte-Moore’s full name: Garnet Lake Korte-Moore. “Our cottage is on Lake Ontario, so my parents were like, ‘Hey, let’s just name him Lake,’ ” he explained after being drafted third overall in 2023. “My mother liked the name Lake a lot, so she would call me that, and it stuck.”
