2024: Ferland made his first CFL start at right tackle, Aug. 16 vs. Montreal. The Roughriders did not allow a sack in that game … played in all 18 regular-season games for the second straight year … Named Roughriders’ Most Outstanding Offensive Lineman for third consecutive year … named to divisional and league All-CFL teams … named West Division’s Most Outstanding Offensive Lineman.

2023: Played in and started 18 games at guard en route to being named the Roughriders’ Most Outstanding Offensive Lineman for the second consecutive season.

PRO: Ferland spent the 2019 season on the Roughriders’ practice roster after being added as a territorial junior. In 2021, he started all 14 games during a COVID-shortened season, lining up at left guard for 13 games before moving to centre for the regular-season finale. He then returned to left guard for the West Division semi-final and final. He started all 16 games for which he was available in 2022.

JUNIOR: Played four seasons (2015-18) with the PFC’s Regina Thunder, earning league All-Star honours in 2016, 2017 and 2018. He was a unanimous All-Star selection in 2016 and 2018. Also in 2018, he was a CJFL All-Canadian. He was named the PFC’s outstanding offensive lineman in 2019.

FAST FACT: A journeyman carpenter, he operates Ferland’s Framing to Finish.
