2023: Milligan Jr. enjoyed a spectacular start to the 2023 campaign, registering two interceptions and a key third-down stop in four games before suffering a season-ending toe injury. The Roughriders had a 3-1 record with Milligan Jr. in the lineup.

 

PRO: Milligan Jr. signed with the Dallas Cowboys as an undrafted free agent in 2016. He spent time on the Cowboys’ practice roster before signing with the Detroit Lions (2017) and Indianapolis Colts (2018). In 2019, he played in 11 games with the Colts, for whom he made one start. He registered 11 solo tackles and four assisted stops in 2019 and also dressed for an NFL playoff game. On Oct. 23, 2021, he signed with the Roughriders and made his CFL debut in the regular-season finale at Hamilton, where he registered five defensive tackles, one special teams tackle and one sack. He was also in the lineup for both Roughriders playoff games in 2021. In his first full season with the Roughriders, he recorded 71 defensive tackles, 11 special teams tackles, one interception, one sack, one fumble recovery and a team-high eight pass knockdowns in 17 games with the 2022 edition.

 

COLLEGE: Milligan Jr. spent his senior year at the University of Toledo, where he made 48 defensive tackles (four for a loss), two interceptions (one of which he returned for a touchdown), five pass deflections and three forced fumbles. The year before, he started eight games at the University of Alabama-Birmingham, recording 54 tackles (second-best on the team), four tackles for a loss, two sacks and six pass deflections.

 

FAST FACT: Milligan Jr. has registered all three of his CFL interceptions during a road game in Alberta.
