2025: Emilus had eight catches for 133 yards and one touchdown in a season-opening, 31-26 victory over Ottawa on June 5 at Mosaic Stadium.

2024: Emilus had career highs in catches (eight) and receiving yards (161) on July 13 at B.C. With gains of 51 and 50 yards, he became the first Roughrider since Taj Smith to have two receptions of 50-plus yards in the same game … eight catches for 56 yards and one TD, Aug. 8 at Ottawa … eight catches for 66 yards, Aug. 22, at Toronto … four catches for 66 yards (including a 52-yarder) and one TD, Sept. 7 at Winnipeg … seven catches for 63 yards, Sept. 28 vs. Ottawa … four catches for 124 yards — including an 88-yard TD bomb — on Oct. 5 at Edmonton … six receptions for 94 yards puts him over 1,000 yards for the second straight season, Oct. 12 vs. B.C. … named Roughriders’ Most Outstanding Canadian for the second straight season … named to divisional All-CFL team … caught 84 passes for 1,064 yards and five TDs in 17 regular-season games … nine catches for 106 yards in West Semi-Final, Nov. 2 vs B.C. … 19-yard touchdown reception in Western Final, Nov. 9 at Winnipeg.

2023: Emilus enjoyed a breakout season as a CFL sophomore, catching 70 passes for 1,097 yards and six touchdowns — three of which were recorded June 16 against the visiting Winnipeg Blue Bombers. With three touchdown catches, Emilus tied a Roughriders single-game record. The feat has been accomplished 18 times in Roughriders history, dating back to 1958. Late in the 2023 campaign, Emilus was named the Roughriders’ Most Outstanding Canadian after recording a 1,000-yard season faster than any National player in team history. Ray Elgaard was a third-year Roughrider when, in 1985, he reached the 1,000-yard milestone for the first of eight times in his Hall of Fame career.

PRO: After being selected by Saskatchewan in the first round (seventh overall) of the 2022 CFL Draft, Emilus appeared in seven games as a rookie. He caught 10 passes for 165 yards, returned seven punts for 53 yards, and added a 33-yard missed field goal return.

COLLEGE: He spent his senior season at Louisiana Tech University, playing in eight games for the Bulldogs and recording 17 receptions for 257 yards and three touchdowns. He also returned three kickoffs for 66 yards. Emilus spent his previous three collegiate seasons (2018-20) at the University of Massachusetts. Over 22 games as a Minuteman, he made 59 receptions for 653 yards and seven touchdowns, returned six kickoffs for 114 yards and brought back four punts for 57 yards. In 2020, he was named to the Phil Steele All-Independent First Team as a punt returner.

FAST FACT: Emilus’s favourite CFL player while growing up was Montreal Alouettes star receiver S.J. Green — a 2024 inductee into the Canadian Football Hall of Fame.
