The Saskatchewan Roughriders (6-1) will take on the Edmonton Eskimos (1-6) in a week nine West Division matchup at Commonwealth Stadium.
Last week, the Riders took on the visiting Montreal Alouettes in front of a sold out 40,637 fans at Mosaic Stadium in Regina. The game was a hard fought defensive battle until the Riders scored 10 points in the final minutes to come from behind and win 24-21. Chris Milo connected on a 36-yard field goal on the final play of the game to lift the Riders to victory.
Meanwhile, the Eskimos dropped a 36-33 decision in Toronto. Quarterback Mike Reilly had a career day, throwing for 511 yards and three touchdowns.
This will be the second of four meetings between these two teams and the final one in Edmonton as the teams finish the set October 12th and November 2nd in Regina. In week one the Riders defeated the Eskimos 39-18.
Kickoff is set for 2:00PM Saskatchewan time (4:00 ET) Saturday, August 24th. Fans can watch the broadcast live on TSN or listen to the game on Rider Radio 620 CKRM with Rod Pedersen calling the action beginning with the pregame show at 11:30AM. The game will also be televised in the U.S. on ESPN3.
