Saskatchewan Roughriders receiver Geroy Simon has become the Canadian Football League All-Time receptions leader with 1,018 career catches.
The Rider receiver caught the record breaking pass in the first quarter of the September 29th game against the Montreal Alouettes.
In addition to now being the all-time receptions leader, Simon is also the CFL record holder in career receiving yards, entering today’s game with 16,188. The 15-year veteran is third all-time with 103 touchdown catches.
The Riders, in conjunction with the Canadian Football League, will recognize this accomplishment prior to the Saturday, October 12th game at Mosaic Stadium.
