The Saskatchewan Roughriders (8-5) will look to end a four game slide as they visit the West coast to take on the divisions second place team, BC Lions (9-4).
Last week the Riders dropped a 17-12 decision in Montreal to run their season long losing streak to four games. The Lions enter this week in second place after handling the Blue Bombers 53-17 in Winnipeg.
The Green and White will be kick-started by the return of CFL rushing leader Kory Sheets who has missed the previous two games due to injury. The game will see the all-time receptions and yards leader Geroy Simon play his first game in BC Place since being acquired by the Riders from the Lions prior to the 2013 season.
This will be the second of three regular season meetings between the Roughriders and Lions with the final contest taking place October 19th in Regina. The Lions took the first game 24-22 on Sept. 22nd at Mosaic Stadium.
Kickoff is set for 8:00PM Saskatchewan time (10:00 ET) Friday, October 4th. Fans can watch the broadcast live on TSN or listen to the game on Rider Radio 620 CKRM with Rod Pedersen calling the action beginning with the pregame show at 5:30PM. The game will also be televised in the U.S. on ESPN3.
