The Saskatchewan Roughriders (9-5) return home to Mosaic Stadium after two games on the road to face the visiting Edmonton Eskimos (3-11) in week 16 CFL action.
Last week the Riders ended a four game losing streak when they went into B.C. and took out the Lions 31-17. The win moved the Green and White back into second place in the West standings and secured a spot in the 2013 CFL Playoffs. The Eskimos were dropped 47-24 at home versus the Montreal Alouettes.
This week’s game will feature the top two statistical receivers in the CFL with the Eskimos Fred Stamps leading the way followed by the Riders Chris Getzlaf who enters the game 69 yards away from 1,000 on the season.
It will be the third of four regular season meetings between the two teams. The Riders took the first two games both in Edmonton. Game four is scheduled as the final regular season game on November 2nd at Mosaic Stadium.
Kickoff is set for 2:30PM Saskatchewan time (4:30 ET) Saturday, October 12th. Fans can watch the broadcast live on TSN or listen to the game on Rider Radio 620 CKRM with Rod Pedersen calling the action beginning with the pregame show at 12:00PM. The game will also be televised in the U.S. on ESPN3.
