Riders Mourn the Passing of Former General Manager Bill Quinter

The Saskatchewan Roughrider Football Club would like to extend its deepest sympathies to the family of former Roughrider General Manager Bill Quinter.
Bill was hired by the Riders in December, 1984 remaining with the team for two years until being let go as the team’s General Manager following the 1986 season. He played with the Ottawa Rough Riders for six years before coaching with the Toronto Argonauts, Calgary Stampeders and B.C. Lions over a 10-year span. He also spent time as the Lions’ director of player development for two years before being hired by Saskatchewan.
Bill passed away peacefully in his sleep on the weekend in West Kelowna. He was 74.
