Saskatchewan Roughriders defensive lineman John Chick has been named a CFL Player of the Month for July.
Chick was named Defensive Player of the Month following a league leading start to the 2014 season.
Through four games, the fifth year Rider veteran currently leads the league with six quarterback sacks while also adding 11 defensive tackles and a forced fumble.
The 31-year-old Wyoming native currently sits seventh in the Rider career quarterback sack totals with 33.
