The Saskatchewan Roughriders (6-2) will look to extend their current five game winning streak as they take on the visiting Winnipeg Blue Bombers (6-3) in the annual Labour Day Classic.
The Green and White remain the hottest team in the CFL after winning their fifth in a row, a come from behind 20-16 thriller over the B.C. Lions last Sunday in Vancouver. The Blue Bombers picked up a 24-16 win at home last Friday over the visiting Montreal Alouettes. .
The action gets underway at 2:00 pm (4:00 Eastern) at Mosaic Stadium on Sunday, August 31st. It will be the second of three regular season meetings between the two teams. The Riders won the first leg of the set 23-17 in Winnipeg on Aug. 7th. The Labour Day Rematch, and final game of the season series, will be played next Sunday in Winnipeg.
Fans can watch Sunday’s game live on TSN or listen on Rider Radio 620 CKRM with Rod Pedersen and Carm Carteri calling the action. The CKRM Roughriders Game Day will begin at 11:30 am.
The game will be available live to Sirius and XM satellite and online subscribers on channel 167 and also televised in the U.S. on ESPN3.
