The Saskatchewan Roughriders (7-2) will look to extend their current six game winning streak as they visit the Winnipeg Blue Bombers (6-4) in the annual Labour Day Rematch.
The Green and White remain the hottest team in the CFL after winning their sixth in a row, a come from behind 35-30 classic over the visiting Winnipeg Blue Bombers last Sunday. The Riders rushed for 160 yards and three touchdowns – including a 15 yard score by Anthony Allen with 28 seconds remaining to put the Riders ahead for good. The defence held firm registering four quarterback sacks and an interception.
The action gets underway at 3:00 pm (2:00 Saskatchewan) at Investors Group Field on Sunday, September 7th. It will be the third of three regular season meetings between the two teams. The Riders also won the first leg of the set 23-17 in Winnipeg on Aug. 7th.
Fans can watch Sunday’s game live on TSN or listen on Rider Radio 620 CKRM with Rod Pedersen and Carm Carteri calling the action. The CKRM Roughriders Game Day will begin at 11:30 am Sask. time.
The game will be available live to Sirius and XM satellite and online subscribers on channel 167 and also televised in the U.S. on ESPN.
