The Saskatchewan Roughriders (8-2) will look to extend their current seven game winning streak as they visit the Hamilton Tiger-Cats (2-7) in a highly anticipated week 12 CFL matchup.
The Green and White remain the hottest team in the CFL after winning their seventh in a row, a tight 30-24 win in Winnipeg last Sunday. Weston Dressler returned a punt to put an exclamation on a 28 point second quarter for the Riders before the defence grinded out the second half to hang on for the win. The game will be remembered for a hit on Darian Durant that has the quarterback possibly sidelined for the remainder of the season. Tino Sunseri is expected to make his first career start this week.
The action gets underway at 1:00 pm (11:00 am Saskatchewan) at Tim Hortons Field on Sunday, September 14th. It will be the second and final regular season meeting between the two teams. The Riders opened the regular season with a 31-10 win over the Ti-Cats in Regina.
Fans can watch Sunday’s game live on TSN or listen on Rider Radio 620 CKRM with Rod Pedersen and Carm Carteri calling the action. The CKRM Roughriders Game Day will begin at 8:30 am Sask. time.
