The Saskatchewan Roughriders announced today that they have acquired the rights to national long snapper Jorgen Hus and a third round selection in the 2016 CFL Draft from the Edmonton Eskimos. In exchange the Riders have sent national wide receiver Cory Watson and a second round selection in the 2016 CFL Draft to the Eskimos.
Hus was originally selected by the Eskimos in the fourth round (31st overall) of the 2013 CFL Draft. The Saskatoon native and University of Regina product has spent time with the NFL’s St. Louis Rams, Seattle Seahawks and Kansas City Chiefs over the last two seasons.
