The Saskatchewan Roughriders announced today that national offensive linemen Kyle Paterson and Terry Hart have signed with the team. As per club policy, details of the contracts were not released.
Paterson (6’3 – 285) re-signs with the Riders after completing his fourth year of CIS eligibility with the University of Regina. The Weyburn, SK native has played 26 career collegiate games through four seasons with the Rams. Last year, the 22-year-old started all eight conference games and the Canada West Semi-Final at left guard.
Paterson was originally selected by the Riders in the 5th round (45th overall) of the 2014 CFL Draft and attended training camp before returning to school.
Hart (6’3 – 300) has signed with the Riders after completing his CIS eligibility at St. Francis Xavier. The 23-year-old Barrie, ON native played 29 career collegiate games, mainly at right tackle, through five seasons with the X-Men. He was named an AUS All-Star following the 2013 season.
Hart was originally selected by the Riders in the 7th round (63rd overall) of the 2014 CFL Draft before returning to complete his collegiate eligibility.
