New Mosaic Stadium Construction Facts
- To date over 25,500 cubic meters of concrete has been placed within the stadium. At completion the amount of concrete placed would construct six office towers.
- Over 410,000 hours have been worked on the site by the PCL construction team.
- Currently 290 workers are on site, with an anticipated peak of 350 by this August.
- More than 80 per cent of the excavated material has been removed from the site which equals 250,000 cubic metres.
- New Mosaic Stadium will have nine elevators, compared to one in the current stadium.
- The total square footage of new Mosaic Stadium will be 521,866 which is more than double the existing stadium.
- The field of play will be 10.547m below grade.
- When complete the height from the field of play to the highest point in the roof will be 55.606 meters.
