Friday’s preseason game Livestream reached over 100k viewers
The Saskatchewan Roughriders are proud to announce the incredible numbers pulled in by the Livestream of the final Riders preseason game against the Calgary Stampeders Friday night. Over 100-thousand viewers in 44 different countries watched the game that was broadcast live on riderville.com, the Rider App, stampeders.com, cfl.ca and tsn.ca. The Riders would like to thank the Calgary Stampeders, the Canadian Football League and TSN for all of their help with the production, promotion and providing other platforms for the game.
– Over 200,000 total views were recorded
– Up to 21,000 fans were watching the game at any given time
– 44 countries watched the game including over 4000 fans in the United States and 1000 in Germany
It’s now back to work for the Saskatchewan Roughriders as they prepare for the season and home opener this Saturday night, 6:00pm against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Tickets are still available and can be purchased by heading to riderville.com and clicking on the tickets icon.
