Riders Add Running Back to Practice Roster

The Saskatchewan Roughriders have announced the addition of international running back LaVance Taylor to the practice roster.
Taylor (5’11 – 195) joins the Riders after a record breaking career at Central Missouri. Through four seasons with the Mules, Taylor registered 3,941 rushing yards and 35 touchdowns on 625 carries. As a senior, the Missouri native set single season school records for rushing yards and all-purpose yards as well as career records in all-purpose yards and kickoff return touchdowns. He was named First Team AP Little All-American in 2014.
The 23-year-old has previously spent time with the Ottawa REDBLACKS and BC Lions as well as the NFL’s Kansas City Chiefs.
- The Riders also announced they have released international defensive back Kip Edwards from the practice roster.
