Riders Add Two to Practice Roster

The Saskatchewan Roughriders have announced the addition of national defensive lineman Ryan Wellman and national defensive back Hugo Lopez to the practice roster.
Wellman (6’6 – 235) rejoins the Riders after spending the 2014 season with the team. As a rookie, the Regina native played five regular season games, recording two special teams tackles. The 25-year-old University of Regina product attended 2015 training camp with the Riders.
Lopez (6’3 – 215) joins the Riders after playing seven regular season games with the Ottawa Redblacks this year. The 28-year-old is in his fifth CFL season and is a veteran of 28 games where he has recorded 13 special teams tackles.
