Get ready for the 2023 season with the Saskatchewan Roughriders!
The Rider Rally is set for Sunday, May 7 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and will get Rider Nation back into Mosaic Stadium after a long five months without Roughrider football.
The Club is excited to announce a brand-new, free fan event to kick off football season: the Rider Rally. Hosted in Regina, the Rider Rally will give fans the opportunity to celebrate the return of football before the team heads up to Saskatoon for Coors Light Training Camp.
“Football season is finally upon us, and we can’t think of a better way to celebrate than to bring Fans together at Mosaic Stadium in May for an afternoon of fun,” said Chief Brand Officer Anthony Partipilo. “We hope you’ll put on your best Green and White and bring the whole family to join us for the start of the most wonderful time of the year.”
At 1:15 p.m., in-game host Mark Johnston takes the mic for a Q&A session featuring Quarterbacks Trevor Harris, Mason Fine and Shea Patterson, alongside receivers Jake Wieneke, and Shawn Bane Jr.! There will also be special appearances from the 620 CKRM Rider Pep Band, the 620 CKRM Rider Cheer Team, and Gainer the Gopher!
Fans are invited to join us on the field, for a plethora of family activities including inflatables (for kids and adults!), face painting, interactive games, a field-goal kicking station, and more! Western Pizza will be open on the concourse for food and beverages.
The ultimate 80’s pop and rock cover band, Dangerous Cheese, will perform on the stage above Pil Country at noon and 1:45 p.m. Fans won’t want to miss the chance to jam out to everything from Michael Jackson’s Beat It to Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go by Wham!
Free parking is available the south lot (by the Brandt Centre) and fans should enter through Gate 1 on the south-west corner of Mosaic Stadium.
